Zebra’s Enterprise Browser is a powerful, next generation industrial browser enabling developers to build feature rich web applications that integrate seamlessly with the features in Zebra mobile computers and peripherals — such as bar code scanning, signature capture, printing and more.

One very common request I see from our developers is the ability to develop applications for Zebra mobile computers using an Emulator.  No emulator images are available for any of our devices but instead developers are advised to code against real hardware - Zebra does have programs for our partners where demo units are available but emulator support remains a common request.

In this first blog, we'll focus on developing a simple app in Android by using our new Android SDK for ZC100/300 card printers.

This basic app will have two activities, one to control and manage the TCP communication, and the second one to control the USB communication.

On November 22nd, Zebra released a new version of Browser Print.

As the holiday season is upon us, Apple  announced their App Store Connect Holiday Schedule. Please note, new apps and app updates will not be accepted and processed from December 23 to 27 (Pacific Time).

The Zebra Browser Print v1.2.1.279 was released recently on Nov. 22, 2018. You can download the latest release of the Browser Print from the Browser Print Product Page​. Since this release, the Web Server is now required in order to test and use the Browser Print.
