You need to use an advanced data formatting rule (ADF) - see below:
There is no explicit setting for disabling the check digit, but you can configure DataWedge to only send the first 7 and 12 digits for EAN8 and EAN13 respectively.

Add New
Enter “EAN13”
Save
Move
Move Up
Tap the EAN13 rule (should be at the top of the list)
Criteria
Devices
If you have more than 1 scanning device:
Tap to uncheck “All”
For all other devices besides the one you are scanning with (eg: the camera if you are scanning with 2d blockbuster imager):
tap the name
tap included (to uncheck)
back
Tap the scanning device you are scanning with
Ensure “Included” is checked
Decoders
All (to uncheck)
EAN13 (to check)
