One of my customers will be updating from EB 1.8 to EB 2.0 on their MC92No Windows scanners. Are they are issues with backwards compatibility ?

No big change has been done between EB 1.8 and 2.0 apart from few bug fixes for SPR and Licensing changes for Windows mobile/CE devices.
There should not be any problem for backward compatibility.
Only Licenses have to be migrated to 2.0.
