I having issues with Browser Print recognizing my network printer when under the same network and sub net. I can easily print to my printer by entering a static IP when using HTTP Post so I know it is set up to work and be recognized on the network. When I connect via USB, it recognizes the printer immediately and works perfectly. Yet using Broadcast Search under the same network it inst getting recognized. Is there anything else besides same network and sub net I may not be accounting for? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Jesus,

It is not enough to have them on the same network. To make Broadcast Search able to find printers on the network, please make sure that the printers and the computer are on the same subnet. The Broadcast Search can only find the printers on the same subnet.

Also you may need to check subnet IP mask settings in your computer and printer. Broadcast search may not work in case of improper mask value used.
