I just started working with the browser print api, and I was wondering if it's possible to detect if the browser print software is not running, because when it's not running I have the following error : "net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET" which is not very specific.

You can try to use BrowserPrint.getDefaultDevice method with error handler function to test if BrowserPrint is available.
