Hi,
I am developing an application using datawedge for ZEBRA MC3300 device in android. The client also wants that the application will also run on non zebra device (Smartphone or other scanning device like honewell etc.).
I have read below articles for run application on non zebra device.

I have run above example on my device (Smartphone). But I did not get any idea about how the application will run on non zebra device.

On a non-Zebra device you will need to use some alternative scanning library since Datawedge (or Zebra's EMDK) will be unavailable. The sample app you refer to provides ZXing and Google Vision and presents an interface compatible with Zebra's DataWedge. If you are developing your application from scratch, you may find it far easier to integrate the alternative scanning library directly into your application and dynamically detect at runtime whether or not you are running on a Zebra device - in which case you would not have any need for GitHub - darryncampbell/GenericScanWedge: Implements an Android service that provides a rudimentary implementation of Ze… .
