Hello all,

we work with visual studio 2015 and xamarin of course.
we have installed the EMDK and use your api barcode scan engine ...all works well ..

But we have a little problem with some employee who are used the left hand
These people would like to can scan with the button of the song ...

I wonder if it's possible to MOVE the button for scanning at the place of the song button for example ?
If yes, how to do that ?

Also, i've seen on the documentation :
https://www.bsr.at/mediafiles/Handbuch/Zebra/Zebra_TC75_Quick_Start_201…
that the device tc 75 have a ptt button programmable but how we can affect the scan for example ?

thanks for your time

Hi Christophe,

I suggest you check out the KeyMap manager documentation: Keymapping Manager - Zebra Technologies TechDocs , you should be able to remap any of the hardware keys as you require, specifically you will want the "Send Trigger" "Key Behaviour Identifier" applied to the volume button I guess.

Do you really want to MOVE the button?  Maybe configure your device to be ambidextrous so you do not have to worry about specific people having to use specific devices.  You should be able to also use the KeyMap manager to change the behaviour of the PTT button, should you wish to.
