Hi, i developed an app to Zebra MK500, this starts automatically when turn on the device... but ever starts the calibration screen. is there a way to remove it? i need it because my client doesn't want to calibrate the screen every turn on the device. Thanks (:

Hi Sergio,
I used the following on the MK3100, it might work on the MK500. Make sure the device has been accurately calibrated first.
1. Create a "NoCal.REG" file with a text editor on your PC or laptop.
2. Paste the following REGISTRY Settings into the file (you can exclude the comments if you want):

; System startup management for the MK3100
; Current settings prevent the calibration
; application from starting when the device
; boots.
;****************************************************
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Symbol\Startup]
"SkipCalibrate"=dword:00000001
"Path"="\\Application\\Startup"
"NoSetup"=dword:00000001
"AllowUserEscape"=dword:00000001
3. Save the file.
4. Copy the file into the device's "\Application" directory
5. Reboot.
Upon rebooting, it should import registry settings from any file with the .REG extension that are included in the "\Application" directory.
