RS6000 update with no cradle or cable

I have a seed unit and need to update the RS6000 firmware, however I do not have any cables or cradles. I have tried BT connection to PC (similar to RS507 update) but this does not work. Release notes state EMDK application for the WT6000, but I'm not developer.
Has anyone written a firmware upgrade application for the WT6000 - if so would a cable be required?
Secondly any reasons why the PC update tool will not allow the RS6000 to upgrade via BT?

Thanks
Justin

Justin,

My understanding is that the only way to upgrade the RS6000s is using one of these cradles:

CRD-NGRS-1S1BU-01
CRD-NWTRS-2SUCH-01

These two cradles will give you access to the I/O connector on the RS6000 – you will also need a  microUSB cable from the cradle to the PC/Laptop.

The WT6000 can be upgraded using a cradle or a special USB/Charging cable (CBL-NGWT-USBCHG-01)

Hi Ana
The RS6000 guide does state BT update using the WT6000 and then using an MDM tool to push the file down to the RS6000.
In the short term I will try and find a cradle.
Thanks
Justin
