I am seeing an 'optmizing apps' message for quite a long time after each boot of the 90.09.04 OS image (see photo below) whereas I don;t see this on other Zebra Android devices - any ideas as to why this is happening ?

Hi Ian,
updating the OS at the first boot you get an optimisation of the installed apps.
In Lollipop, with ART, that it's an Ahead Of Time Compiler, this process can takes some times.
You see something similar with Dalvik, (DexOpt process) but is faster.
