We have a site where a Ubuntu based RhoConnect server is installed in a way that it uses a HTTP proxy for all web access/browsing etc.The proxy is setup in the normal Linux way (export http_proxy=).

The Rhodes app uses Google Cloud Messaging for push notifications.

The RhoConnect service itself works fine however when a 'push_objects' is called from our backend to the RhoConnect API we can see the server attempting to resolve 'android.googleapis.com' so it appears it is trying to perform the call to the Google REST APIs direct and not via the http proxy.

Is there a way we can force RhoConnect to use its' rest client for push notification requests via the HTTP Proxy?
