Simple guide on how to damage the SIM slot

Using a microSIM adapter I nearly killed the TC75 SIM slot...

So, I've two SIM I use for testing, a data only nanoSIM, and a voice+data microSIM. With the nanoSIM adapter I manage to make some testing.
Inserting the microSIM with the adapter in picture the microSIM moved inside the adapter and the adapter "captured" the electric contact of the SIM adapter damaging it.
See below for some nice pictures.

Here's the microSIM adapter, after extracting it from the SIM slot, the contacts are now curved back, outside the plastic strip that is supposed to keep the SIM in place.
You can even see the scratch on the microSIM adapter that I made extracting it:

In this picture you can have a nice image of the curved electric contacts:

At the end I was able to have the contacts back in position, put back my nanoSIM with his adapter (made of a different plastic). Probably the nanoSIM does not move inside the adapter as happens with the microSIM.

I'm going to use a real full size SIM to do some testing on this device.
Overall I think that this SIM slot is one of the worse I've ever seen (and I've spent 5 years working on embedded M2M devices)!
