I am attempting to connect to an Intermec PB51 mobile printer via bluetooth using Rho 2.2.0. Starting off, I am just attempting to establish a bluetooth connection.
First, is the bluetooth connection available for testing using the simulator? Next, when attempting on both the simulator and on a device, "Rho::BluetoothManager.is_bluetooth_available" always returns 0. I have the bluetooth capability added to the build.yml and also have the required 'rho/rhobluetooth' added to the controller I am using.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, if I am spinning my wheels as to attempting to connect AND print to a BT printer via 2.2.0, please let me know.
Thank you!!
Ryan

Bluetooth does not work from the simulator. You will need to debug this on an actual device.
1. What OS is the device?
2. Have you tried a clean build?
Hi Ryan,
To our knowledge, Rho-Simulator cannot connect to Bluetooth. With device it should work fine.
This issue needs help from Motorola. We will raise this issue with them to get an answer.
