The Keyboard on the IPhone is disabled when connectiong to DS3578

All, Does anyone have experience connecting the DS3578 to an IPhone?  I have a customer trying to do this.  The DS3578 connects and works okay, but the keyboard/SIP on the IPhone is disabled.  It appears that the IPhone sees the DS3578 as a keyboard (which it emulates), so it doesn't see a need to display the virtual keyboard.  I'm wondering if there is some workaround for this. Best Regards, Mazen

It looks like there is a custom version of this scanner that has a feature where if you pull the trigger twice, it brings up the virtual keypad.  I think they would need this part number.

I have not used this, but I ran into it while searching for something else.

You'd have to write a little native extension.

Almost certainly complicated by the fact of using a UIWebView, though.
