The MSP team does not docment the schema of the primary MSP database nor do we or would we support any deployment where that database was externally accessed.  With each version of MSP, the database format is free to change and usually does.  In addition, the database is organized to make MSP efficient and effective, not to make it useful for external access. That said, MSP does have the option to create and maintain a "flat" database intended for external reporting (e.g. using a tool such as Crystal Reports).  This database can be enabled using the MSP Admin Tool, after which simple queries can be used to get information about devices.  It should accomplish the types of things it sounds like you are trying to do.  The use of this database is documented in the Using MSP document - Chapter 8 Using Asset Reporting.
