A potential customer is using a Code 49 type of barcode. We are trying to propose a DS6707 but it seems not to be supported from the reference guide. Are there any other alternative ? What is the best way to explain to the customer on why we do not support code 49?

I had to raise a CPR to have code 49 decode added to M2000s a few years back, so we can decode it, its just not a common symbology, my customer needed it as it was being used on photographic films! Try raising a CPR, if the have a need to decode that symbology.
