The MPA1.5 OS Maint. Rel. program is currently in T&V RC1 stage for our next release targeted for the May 2010 timeframe.  General highlights of this release: WM6.5 (AKU 5.3.0 also known as "Com3").  WM6.5 "Com3" introduces a new Home Screen design and a new user interface enhanced to improve finger-touch navigation.  Mobile IE6 has also been enhanced with a zoom capability and the inclusion of Adobe Flash lite.  The Motorola SUPL server has been added as an option to the GPS settings to provide quicker TTFF when a data connection is available.  I am taking requests for those that are interested in providing feedback on the BETA builds. We will be conducting BETA on MC7596 & MC7598, MC5590 & MC5574, and possibly one of the VC60xx products.  We expect the BETA software build to be available in the coming weeks.  At this time due to resource constraints, we are only planning to make available English builds. If you are interested in testing the BETA and providing feedback, please send me an email (DO NOT REPLY TO THE FORUM) with the product to be tested, the country in which it will be tested, the customer (or indicate yourself as the tester, if it will not go to a customer), how many units of that type the customer currently has deployed, and the WAN carrier used if a phone model.  You must also indicate whether or not the customer is under a current support contract for the devices to be tested. Please note that if you provide the build to a customer for BETA, you will be responsible for providing first line support and feeding back issues to the development team.  Tier1/2 and ECRT does not provide support for BETA programs. The software will be provided under conditions of BETA and must be removed from the devices once the production release is available. If you would like a customer to participate and they are approved, they will be required to sign a BETA agreement, prior to receiving the BETA software. Tom Cassar, thomas.cassar@motorola.com
