We have a healthcare customer using the MC70 with a Med Admin app using our scanner API and AppCenter. Therefore, when DataWedge is loaded there are scanning issues, so DataWedge is not loaded. Now the customer wants to add another app that needs to use DataWedge. Is there any way to disable DataWedge when they use their Med Admin app and enable DataWedge when using their other app? Again remember that they are also using AppCenter. Thanks in advance.

With DataWedge 3, you can define the DataWedge settings per target application using profiles. DatWedge 3 will automatically swithch profiles depending on the foreground application. Clayton
Please see " DataWedge Advanced Configuration Guide.pdf" that is installed with DataWedge 3.1. Appendix A Useful Information section on Page #107 (Under Disabling the Barcode Scanner) has details on using DataWedge along with Appcenter, ScanSamp2.exe and other applications. I have tested this method by using ScanSamp2.exe and ScanSamp2.exe works along with DataWedge 3.1. The method described should work for customer scenario.
