We have two different P/Ns in Solution Builder: MC9090-KU0HCEFA6VR - Brick, 802.11 a/b/g, 1D, Color, 128/128MB, 53-key, WM 5.0, Audio/Voice/BT,Voice Picking MC9090-KU0HCEFA6WR - Brick, 802.11 a/b/g, 1D, Color, 128/128MB, 53-key, WM 5.0, Audio/Voice/BT The difference is one letter (V/W) and this "Voice Picking" additional feature (despite $300 difference and 90 vs 14 days lead time). What's the real difference between these SKUs (hardware/packing/whatever)? Thanks in advance.

Arsen,The SKU with the V is for dedicated voice picking. Here are some differences from the standard sku:
It is a dedicated voice picking configuration. It doesnot have a standard 2.5 mm audio jack/connector.
On slide 3, in the attached presentation, illustrated is a headset pigtail that is overmolded on a 'door' on the backhousing.
If the cable/pigtail needs to be serviced, the door can be simply taken off and a replaced with a new door (which comes molded with the pigtail).
This new audio connector mechanism has proven to be very robust for voice picking applications.
There is also a picking 'kit' that can be added onto the standard unit (if it is a 'multi-use' type of device. The kit has a strain relief clip and also a protective boot to protect the headset jack from getting damaged. If the use is for dedicated picking it is recommended that they go with the 'V' sku.
