Refer to the attached image. Why can we not bypass the ATLS Toolkit and manually assign a tag ID here?
It would be useful at least for testing.
Why can't we assign a tag to a position from within ATLS server? There is even a space for the Tag ID but the field is not ed...// Expert user has replied. |

Just adding to Mahender's response. The later version of the server changes the label on that "Planned Tag" to avoid confusion. This allows you to plan and THEN verify later when the installer installs the tag, do the two actually match.
There is a concept of Planned vs Installed tags. The field in the screenshot above can be used to identify what Tag administrator would like to be installed i.e "Planned Tag". But the real association happens when Toolbox user scans the barcode and assigns to the position. Comparing the actually Installed Tag vs Planned Tag tells you of any misplaced tags on the floor.
