Q1. As I understand, if I have developed ZPL commands for a 203 dpi printer and send it to a 300dpi printer, the text will be scaled down on the 300dpi printer. And if I develop the ZPL commands on the 300dpi printer and sent it to 203 dpi printer, it will be scaled up, correct? Q2. If I have two 300 dpi printers and I send the same ZPL commands to each, I should see the same output, right? But if I don't get the same output, what do I need to check?

In ZPL, the positioning of the elements on a label is in dots. A 203dpi resolution means 203 dots per inch, while a 300dpi resolution means 300 dots per inch. When the sample ZPL is applied to a higher resolution printer, we get a scalled-down label comparing to that applied to a lower resolution printer.
In theory, we should get the same result when sending the same ZPL to two printers with the same resolution. If not, then we need to check if we have changed the unit of measure on one of two printers, i.e., whether we have applied the ^MU command to one of the two printers.
