Hi Guys,

I have seen the demos and stuff of the Free Form OCR module in Datawedge. Still not 100% sure how exactly it works, and Zebra support in regards to this is shaky, called multiple times and keep getting people that are not familiar with the whole new Datawedge!!! Maybe i am not getting trough to the correct channel, in any case this is what the client is trying to accomplish. 

They have seen the demo of the Free-Form getting the image to text option. What they're trying to accomplish sounds simple. 

Using Microsoft Sharepoint as an assert tag database to capture simple things like serial umber and model number. Sometimes the serial number is not a barcode but just an alphanumeric digits. The ides is to use Free-Form to capture the txt from the  device (i guess select the area capture the image to txt into a simple field in sharepoint). Essentially they're asking if it can convert text from and input into a text field in Sharepoint directly. 

If someone  is capable of confirming this can be done and implemented please contact me ASAP. We will compensate properly as long as this can be implemented.
