The industry remains focused on identifying industry leaders and trying to predict how their contributions will shape the future of IoT. This week’s installment of IoT Trends of the Week brings you the following from around the Internet of Things:
- Information Age defines the I in Internet of Things
- Researchers from California create tiny radio-on-a-chip that is powered by data
- ARM gears up for TechCon event with cryptic IoT “clues”
- Survey suggests IoT enables developers to build a whole new type of apps
- IoT consumer wearables a hit in EHS departments
- Intel’s tiny chip developed exclusively for the IoT
- Forbes is putting business first in the IoT
- Cloud connectivity is coming to a healthcare facility near you
- Apple launched it's new iPhone 6 series
The Internet of Things is more than just a collection of smart stuff: it's an entire ecosystem from devices to data and all the connections in between that promise to redefine the future. As the future becomes the present--or the present races ahead into the future--the IoT information ebb and flow continues. From ever-decreasing the size of IoT-enabled components to carving new use cases and niche markets, industry leaders remain focused on keeping the IoT a main focus. Be sure to check back next week for more IoT trends.
