We all have the old Extended Systems MIB, but it is not applicable to Zebra's more modern printers. (Even though it's listed as a download in the Zebra support areas for printers that it doesn't apply to.) I've seen a discussion of how to somehow talk a Link-OS printer into spooling a MIB into an area of the printer's memory. As a network and system admin guy, this makes no sense to me... A straightforward download of the ZEBRA-QL-MIB, which I think is the one that applies to printers with sysObjectID.0 = enterprises.10642.1.1, is NOWHERE to be found.
I need to monitor a _lot_ of modern Zebra printers. Is there somewhere I can get a MIB for these so that I can do it right?

There is a post on the forum talks about "MIB files for Zebra Printers". The QLnXXX Series are Link-OS based printers. For those Link-OS printers, the best way is to generate the MIB from the printer itself. There is an article about how to get the MIB from QLnXXX printers.
As I mentioned (though perhaps not clearly) the instructions in "how to get the MIB from QLnXXX printers" do not give me much of a clue. Can someone simply send me the file? This shouldn't be this hard...

Is there any update on this? I'm running into the same issue with the gx420t printers. I followed the guide to get a MIB directly from the printer but it doesn't work with the Zebra Setup Utility as the guide states. Any help would be great.
We cannot get the MIB directly from a non QLnXXX printer. Only the QLnXXX printer models provides the ability for getting the MIB directly from the printers. For all other printer models, the MIB file is downloadable from the support page.
For Link-OS printer models, the MIB can be downloaded from the firmware section of the respective support page of that printer model.
For non Link-OS printer models, such as the GX or GK series, the MIB can be downloaded from the Support for the ZebraNet 10/100 Print Server page.
