why doesn't your software load images on to the printer correctly?

\ZEBRA GC420d BARCODE PRINTER
DRIVER VERSION: 5.1.07.6290
ZEBRA SETUP UTILITIES: v1.1.9.1192
ZebraDesigner Fonts and Graphics Downloader: 3.1.1 build 9355

I am attempting to print stored images using

GG10,10,"SEAL"

where "SEAL" is the name of the graphic.

sending

GI

to the printer results in an output similar to

Graphics information:
SEAL
Graphic memory left: 6224K

I have tried loading graphics onto a "Memory Card" and "Downloading" those images from your "ZebraDesigner Fonts and Graphics Downloader".
This application displays the files and indicates they are "Downloaded" (via the red check mark).  Additionally it will print the graphic out on the printer.  However after "Downloading" (to both the flash and DRAM) the printer does not indicate that there are any graphics loaded on it when queried with the "GI" command.

What is the process for loading graphics onto and printing them from this printer?

Hi William,
The first thing I would look at the the printer driver you are using with the Downloader tool.  Make sure your driver has the "GC420d (EPL)", rather than just "GC420d".  Otherwise the application will default to use the ZPL graphic conversion instead of the EPL one that you are wanting to use in your format.
