I have to use RS507 Bluetooth scanners connected to my computer through a Bluetooth hub. The Bluetooth hub is master, the RS507s are in SSI mode. I want to send SSI commands to the scanners to read barcodes. The Bluetooth hub can pass though SSI messages between the scanners and my computer.
I tried to send following commands by C++ ( I have put the commands and checksum in byte array )
Scan_Enable
Start_SCAN_Session
AiM_ON
Is there a document to describe this? I checked SSI programmers guide, but there is only general information not for RS507.
Please help me. Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Laurence Chang

I don't know the answer to your specific question, but you might want to try updating the firmware on your RS507 if it is not behaving as you expect. I know the original versions worked well with our CE and Windows Mobile based devices, but I think you may need updated firmware to talk reliably to other devices.
Here's a link to an older firmware update. The reason I share this is that this is where you can find the PC firmware updater tool.
