After enabling Active mode, the reader works as expected, however it defaults back to standby after about 20 seconds. Is there a way to make sure the reader stays in active mode?

Hi Alex,

I didn't notice the same issue happen in FX9500.Did you upgrade to latest firmware?:https://portal.motorolasolutions.com/Support/US-EN/Resolution?solutionI…

Also, I believe you are accessing the operating mode from Web Console. Fyi, the web console was meant for basic demo of tag reading and it is not for a complete solutions.

if you would like to test on further functionality of FX9500, I would recommend you to test with Zebra Demo Application.

For Host Application Development, you can refer to Zebra EMDK for .Net:
https://portal.motorolasolutions.com/Support/XP-EN/Resolution?solutionI…

After the installation, you can refer to Start > Programs > Motorola EMDK for.Net v2.9 > helps > Programmer guide > RFID 3 > Generic Reader interface:
There are samples host application that you could refer. They are located at START > PROGRAMS > MOTOROLA EMDK FOR .NET v2.9 > SAMPLES
Examples- CS_RFID3_Host_Sample1 and CS_RFID3_Host_Sample2:

Hope this helps.
Tsu Beng.

I'm having trouble finding the references to add to the project. Do I need to browse for a DLL? If so, where should it be?
