VisibilityIQ Printer Setting Changes

Printer Setting Changes
Identify Printer Performance Issues

Gain insight into printer setting changes across your fleet to better identify irregular patterns that may lead to printer performance impact or the consumption of media.

Identify the number of changes for each printer setting type, the total number of changes, and the total number of printers with setting changes. See an expanded view that displays all setting changes received from all printers in your fleet. Sort by model to see all setting changes received from all printers and easily categorize by printer models: Desktop • Mobile • RFID • Tabletop

Requirements
  • Zebra Printers are running Link-OS 4.0 or above, i.e. firmware version X.20.01Z or later
  • Zebra Printer Connector (ZPC) agent is activated on the Printers
  • Devices have been enrolled and authorized for Zebra Savanna

VisibilityIQ Printer Utilization

Printer Utilization
Monitor Printer Utilization

Monitor printer utilization to understand what printers are under or over utilized. The report provides insights into the length printed and the number of labels printed in your fleet and helps to better plan for media replenishment. A printer is considered utilized upon printing at least 20cm or 8 inches length during any hour of the day.

Requirements
  • Zebra Printers are running Link-OS 4.0 or above, i.e. firmware version X.20.01Z or later

VisibilityIQ Device Disruptions

Device Disruptions
Improve Operational Productivity

Improve operational productivity by identifying mobile computers that are experiencing frequent reboots or applications freezing. Descriptive analytics of ANRs (Application Not Responding) and related applications, provide thread states (possibly reason) to help aid development team to debug issues. Reboots can be flagged as user or system generated reboots to identify cause of reboot. Through insight reports, easily identify, investigate, fix or replace poorly performing devices to maintain productivity.

Requirements
  • Mobile device model and Android version are supported for the Mobile Computer Device Health APIs
  • Device has been enrolled and authorized for Zebra Savanna
  • Zebra Data Services (ZDS) agent is installed and activated on the device

In Android 10, Google introduced Scoped Storage as a security enhancement, severely limiting an application’s ability to access world readable / writeable file locations.  Application file storage is now sandboxed with only a few documented exceptions for media content and writing outside of the app’s sandbox requires the end user’s manual confirmation.
