We are pleased to announce the release of The EMDK for Android version 3.1. In this version, we're introducing support for new KitKat devices, a new API for Simulscan, updates to existing Data Capture API's, and a ton of new Profile Manager features.

If you've got a smartphone, chances are you've used Apple's App Store or Google Play and to downloaded some apps, and probably more than a few times. You might also have noticed that installed apps periodically get updated—sometimes automatically, sometimes with your approval—and afterward usually work better or have some new features added in.

1. Why does Zebra Technologies need to rebrand the Enterprise products acquired from Motorola Solutions?

RhoMobile works with Windows 8.x, but the installer places RhoMobile files in the same directory structure as on a Windows 7 system. This includes placement of launcher shortcuts and web links in the "Start Menu" folder. Since Windows 8 lacks a Start Menu, there's an extra step or two following an install to make the RhoMobile launchers visible.

RhoMobile Suite 5.0 Service Pack 3 has been released. SP3 will update your current installation of RhoMobile Suite to version 5.0.38, and incorporates all previous service packs.
